Sage is a studio project first conceptualised under the mounting pressure of the cost of living crisis, study expectations and personal commitments.
I enjoy cooking, and find it to be a great way to alleviate both the stress and financial pressure of my living situation. However, myself and many others in similar situations sometimes struggle with knowing what to cook, operating with a limited budget and low availability of ingredients, but wanting to create varied and exciting meals.
Sage is a recipe-based project that personalises and gamifies the cooking experience, enabling everyone to pursue the joy of cooking with the resources available to them.
The student cookbook, titled NO MORE NOODLES, is a collection of 50 appropriate student recipes furnished with handmade illustrations, personal anecdotes, and designed white space for the user to insert their own notes and recipes.
